The Aerobic fitness score helps runners better understand their endurance development. This makes it easier to track your running progress, monitor adaptations, and understand changes in long-term aerobic fitness development.

Your score is calculated using long-term heart rate vs speed trends, analysing your rolling yearly weekly range, and the training patterns for the last 7-8 weeks.

This provides a clearer picture of how efficiently your body performs over time.

The Aerobic fitness score is available under Overview for all runners (including on the free plan).

The score is displayed on a simple 0–5 scale. A higher score means your recent weekly aerobic fitness is stronger compared to your rolling one-year baseline. The % change indicates how the last 8-week score has changed compared to the 8 weeks before.

  • Base - up to 0.99

  • Moderate - 1 - 1.99

  • Good - 2 - 2.99

  • Great - 3 - 3.99

  • Excellent - 4 to 5
